The joint cycling trip to Levočská Mountain exceeded our expectations. It was attended by 27 cyclists of various ages, from younger participants to more experienced riders, who adjusted their pace according to their strength. We set off in the early morning hours from the parish office, and the journey was accompanied by good spirits, mutual encouragement, and beautiful weather. Upon arrival, we took some time to rest, enjoy a light snack, and share a moment of quiet reflection.

The trip was not only a sporting event but also a wonderful opportunity to build community. During breaks, spontaneous conversations emerged, and many appreciated the chance to spend time actively while being among people connected by more than just a shared route. A short prayer and expression of gratitude for the safe course of the event were led by Reverend Andrej Baláž, who joined the group despite many beforehand predicting that he would be the most intimidated by the hills.

We will be reminiscing about one amusing incident for a long time. Just before the finish line, one of the participants' chain fell off at the very moment he was trying to convince the others that he could handle the final climb without any difficulty. While the problem was being fixed, it turned into a small, improvised rest stop, and the mood was even better than before. We returned home pleasantly tired but with the feeling that it was a day well worth experiencing.
